Balance of doing and being

2-hour online course

Life can easily become unbalanced. Sometimes, even a single disruptive impulse is enough to throw the mind off balance. In this interactive well-being workshop, you will learn helpful tools for navigating between the mode of doing and the mode of being. When the mind is stuck in the mode of driven doing, you lose awareness, choice, and creativity. The mind and brain are geared toward survival. How can you recognize that you are in the mode of driven action and easily free yourself from this mode?

Learning content:

  • Meaning and distinction between the doing and being mode

  • Learn how the different modes manifest themselves in the mind and on a physical level

  • Recognize inner drivers and understand how I can defuse them

  • Recognizing how to move from having to do something to allowing yourself to do it

  • Recognize energy-sapping and often unproductive, driven activities early on and be able to break free from them

  • Learn tools to navigate between the doing mode and the being mode

  • Learn how to anchor yourself in the nurturing mode of being

  • Recognize how you, like me, can accomplish everyday tasks with greater ease and presence by operating from a state of being.

  • Learn how to create a to-do list
