Good karma, bad karma?

A lot of good things have happened to me in one fell swoop this summer. Of course, I wonder if it was pure coincidence?

After the honeymoon, I went straight to a meditation center for 10 days, where I had enough time to process everything. Then it dawned on me that perhaps it wasn't a coincidence after all. Perhaps the happy events were the result of numerous small and large good deeds that finally bore fruit?

This is the fundamental law of nature, of cause and effect. Some call this karma. You reap what you sow. If you plant an apple seed, it becomes an apple tree, a lemon seed becomes a lemon tree and a thorn seed becomes a thorn bush.

Presumably, unfavorable actions in my life before also led to unpleasant results, this time favorable actions led to pleasant results.

And so it goes on, my actions today determine what will happen in the future, what will come back to me. Even if I have doubts about life-spanning karma, I can still observe this simple law in the present life.

What are you planting or sowing right now? Can you recognize the law of cause and effect in your life? Please write to me and tell me how you are doing.
