Introduction to Meditation Part 2
4 week program for advanced meditators
This program is for former participants of the 'Introduction to Meditation - Develop Your Personal Meditation Practice' or for people who have already gained experience with meditation. It is also possible to book a one-on-one lesson with the instructor to prepare for this training.*
In this trauma-sensitive meditation training for advanced students, we will first recapitulate the experiences with meditation from the first part of the course. What experiences have been made in meditation, what obstacles have arisen?
In the further course of the course, in addition to awareness as the goal of meditation, the focus is on equanimity. How can I respond with serenity and knowledge with experiences both inside and outside?
The Metta practice, which was started in the first part of the course, is also taken up again and deepened.
Meditation helps:
Being present in everyday life
Dealing with internal and external challenges in life
Grow (self-)awareness
Cultivate serenity
To extend the attention span
Reduce stress and anxiety
Promote emotional and physical health (including sleep)
Meditation is not a panacea. If you have a pre-existing mental illness, please contact the course instructor before registering to assess whether meditation is suitable for your case.
